We're excited to invite passionate and dedicated STEM professionals to join us as Career Connectors. Our mission is to ignite a spark of curiosity and ambition in young minds, particularly in Lancaster's vibrant and diverse youth community. Our focus is on inspiring girls, people of color, economically disadvantaged communities, and other traditionally underserved populations.
As a Career Connector, you'll play a crucial role. You'll share your educational journey, career path, and daily responsibilities, bringing the world of STEM to life. Your stories and experiences are powerful tools, offering representation and visibility to our scholars. Imagine the impact you can make by showing them what's possible, by being the role model who helps shape their dreams into achievable goals.
Your participation also supports a larger vision – building a diverse and inclusive STEM workforce. Through initiatives like STEM Leadership Academy and Girls Who Code, we're bridging gaps and offering new opportunities for exploration and growth. As a volunteer in our out of school time programs and clubs, your presentations and mentorship will help guide and inspire the next generation of STEM leaders.
